Summary of Profile

Mr Obi Godwin born twenty eight years ago, attended Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Ogun State, where he obtained Bachelor degree in Agriculture (Second Class Hons. Upper Division - Animal Breeding and Genetics). His major area of specialization is animal breeding and biotechnology. He is currently a staff of Agricultural Technology Department and lectures in major courses like small ruminant production, breeding and genetics in animal production etc. Some of the research carried out includes:

Detection of single nucleotide polymorphism of IGF-1 gene in Nigerian normal feathered and Arbor Acre chicken.
Detection of the genetic Diversity of IGF-1 gene in Nigerian normal feathered and Arbor Acre chicken.
Determination of Evolutionary phylogeny Relationship between Nigerian normal feathered and Arbor Acre chicken.
